Short thread: As best I can tell the only AAA 95 teams in Ohio are the Barons and the Phantoms. I don't know of any teams in Kentucky or Indiana. In Western Pennsylvania you have the Hornets and Am. Pens. And that's it. Not much of a following.

Columbus and Cincy both claim to have 95 AAA in the EEAHL and Gilmour goes as an independent AAA.

I would call Cyclones, Sabres, and Blue Jackets AA+. Capitals are AA. Clearly none of those teams, however, are AAA because they all played AA in SS, have played AA in many tournaments and some are in the Buckeye Cup. So they all must be rostered as Tier II. All good teams, some I think are stronger than the AAA teams I identified in Midam, just none are true AAA like Barons and Phantoms.

Gilmour is a registered Tier 2 team, playing an independent AA/AAA schedule...very similar to the Columbus Blue Jackets. Gilmour has never claimed to be a registered Tier 1 AAA team.

Myhockey rankings have the 95 Cincinnati team ranked above the 95 Phantom team

95 AAA grows by one -- Ohio Jr. Blue Jackets will now have Tier I AAA hockey at the 95 level. Should be a very strong team if it combines 95 BJs and a couple of the Capitals. Rumor around the rink is that 15 yr. NHL vet. Andrew Cassels could be one of the coaches.

Are the 95 Phantoms going to survive? Will Cincy 95 go Tier I? Could have Barons, Blue Jackets and Cyclones as the three Tier I AAA teams in Ohio. Should be some great games.

Darcy Cahill is coaching, not Cassels.
