Are the 95 Phantoms going to survive? Will Cincy 95 go Tier I? Could have Barons, Blue Jackets and Cyclones as the three Tier I AAA teams in Ohio. Should be some great games.
Last year all of these teams were Squirt aged so the teams were Tier II even if they listed themselves as AAA. This year they are Pee Wee Minor so Columbus, Cincinnati and Cleveland will all Register as Tier I AAA and play in the GLHL.
Can anyone tell my what happens when a team registers Tier 1. Does that mean that they can or cannot play in Silverstick? For example, Cincy has the Peewee minor (95) Silverstick regional. Will the AAA teams play in this tournament?

From what I know which is NOT always correct. There is a Tier I Silverstick AAA level that all teams that are registered as Tier I must play. So your question if the Cincinnati Silverstick minor AA tourney will have Tier I AAA teams in it, the answer should be NO. Only Tier II teams should be elgible to enter that tourney. Same story for the Dayton AA Silverstick. This is only Pee Wee Minor and above, Squirt are not TRUELY tier I, because they do not have a USA hockey national to play for.
