The top 16 teams of birth years 2001 and under will compete March 26- 28, 2010 in the heart of the midwest, St. Louis, Missouri. Rinks are located conveniently just 20 minutes from the airport and downtown. This tournament was formed by popular demand to provide a showcase for elite Mite travel hockey because few regular season Tier 1 or AAA Mite hockey tournaments exist. There is no district qualifying - this is a one weekend, winner take all tournament. Assemble the best Mite team possible and bring them to St. Louis! Top AA or AAA association and all star teams are welcomed. Tournament fee is $800 with $200 deposit required at registration. All teams are guaranteed four games minimum. The Mite Tier 1 Tournament will include special guest appearances from former and current NHL players, announcements of lineups and goals scored, and top notch trophies and awards.
