Anyone have the final results between the CSHL and the Col. Cards Bantam A?

Both good teams but those Cards sure can play.

The final score between the '92 Cards & CSHL was 7-1, in favor of the '92 Cards.

It was rumored that the Cleveland team tried to bring in kids that weren't on their roster to play in the final game. Is this true? If so, it apparently didn't work!! What's the old saying? "Cheaters never win."

Actually it was true. Rumor circulating was 3 players. However, when officials got two team coaches together, CSHL said they only had 1 player that was not on their official USA Hockey roster, which of course is not allowed in any USA Hockey sanctioned tournament. CSHL Coach asked Cardinal coaches if the player could play and Card coaches said sure ("bring it on").

Well I did hear from a dad at the rink last night that they did bring 3 other kids that were not on the roster....

Why would a team do this. What is the point.
