Anyone see the worst call I have ever seen to take a goal off the score board. I can say that Maine was robbed!
The players skate is on the red line of the crease with his toe in the Blue. The goal is scored on a nice move that put the goalie down on the ice and the skater easly puts it in the net low side post, the goal is contested saying a player was in the crease. On review they take the goal away. Come on !

Why was UMD's goal waved off in the 3rd period. They were robbed.

Contact with goalie while in the crease. I thought because he was taken down it should have been a goal. I admit I am not up to speed on college Hockey rules.

NCAA Rules for the tournament Require Every goal to be reviewed. There is no grey area in the rule or written inter****tions. Anyone in the crease = no goal.

I was sitting less than 10 feet from the goal judge. I thought it was a good goal. As they also prohibit display of the replay on the jumbotrons, it wasn't until someone watching a TV at home called me, that I knew why.

The NHL fixed their rule following the Stars/Hull cup winner. NCAA should do the same.
If it has no effect on the goal, the goal should stand.

But, that being said, Maine had their chances. 6 on 3 for final 1:23, for the most memorable finish of any game I have ever seen !
