We are a team from Vancouver called the Selects 98 Black. There is a blue team and a black. Black usually stays in BC,Canada. We are considered a AA team the Blue is a AAA team. As a example 4 kids from the Blue team and One from the Black team will be going to the Brick Tournament this year. If that helps as a guideline. We are thinking of taking this team to Sweden and Finland next year.
Most likely in April or August. I am told Finland has a very large tournament in August. Still tbd. I thought it would be a good idea to have another team from the USA join us. That way there would be a team from Canada and from the US. Most players from Northern Europe are very good skaters, but the shooting and timing are not there yet. They focus more on skating then games in the mites/novice divisions. The trip would be approx 2 weeks. One week in each city. A cruise liner would take us from Sweden to Finland. Anyways, I thought I would throw this out there. The cost per player with airfare is around 2,000 to 2,500. for the trip.That includes Hotels,airfare,Motor Coaches,Ship travel. This would be for the 2009 year.
