My Son recently missed tryouts due to knee injury and was placed on a lower team because of this. We watched the tryouts and were not impressed with the lower caliber of players that were placed on these teams. He has always played A/AA
hockey and is more than capable of a challenge.
I am not saying he is the greatest, just stronger than where he was placed (they never got a good look only a summer coaches input.)
If anyone knows of a team A/AA or even AAA, that is in need of a competitive, coachable, strong goalie please advise. We have NO high school hockey here in Southern Vermont. We would be willing to travel up to an hour or so for practices. So Upstate NY or Western Mass U16 teams or Midget teams that might be looking Please Advise. He is a 94 Goalie.
