1. What do you look for most in goalie camps?
* Comprehensive, logical and progressive curriculum. From session 1 on day one thru the end of the camp, every classroom, on-ice, off-ice session should build off the preceeding element. There should be equal emphasis on the mental aspects of the position as there is to the physical.

2. What has been the best attribute of a camp(s) your son/daughter has gone to?
* Attended Mitch Korn camps exclusively past 5 years, so I like his camp structure (see answer to #1 above). I also like the fact that he is on the ice with the goalies for every session - if his name on the camp, he's going to be there. He keeps it fun for the goalies while also challenging them.
* Goalie accountablility - stresses this big time and won't allow them to make excuses ("If my defensemen had stopped them...." , etc)

3. What have you disliked the most at a goalie camp?
* Feeling like the camp was just another day at work for the instructors - this was prevalant on the bigger "national" camps; lack of a sense of "ownership" by the instrutors and inconsistent level of instruction from year to year.

4. What would be your biggest suggestion for any goalie camp?
* Give some thought to the flow/agenda of the camp, don't just throw together a bunch of drills followed by some weak film "analysis".
* Challenge the goalies but keep it fun too
* Consistent quality of instrutors
