Our local association is trying to change the rules about goalie tryouts for next year. Currently they do not have goalie tryouts until PeeWee but one or two parents of upcoming goalies want it changed to having tryouts for goalies as squirts. I think that's too young. My son is a PeeWee goalie and I am so glad we were not forced to choose between skater and goalie at a younger age-he learned a ton by skating those younger years.

Also do you know of any good articles that support your opinion--I want to find out about both sides of the arguement.
