SmallCity, Do you think Evansville would be able to compete at the AA level? How do you see that division going down? Defense, I know the answer to the first question, but how do you see the division going down? I would have to agree with Zamboni on the outcome. Maybe swap Bloomington and Centerville. I also hope the Indy Bronze team can do better than last place. Although, I can't see any teams that should be last place there. This is, of course, meaningless due to the fact that none of the teams have played each other. It is great fun though. I can not wait till This coming up Monday, so I can mark my calender for these league games.

Thunder maybe would finish in middle or lower half of the Division, providing health of the team. Probably could finish with 5 to 6 wins or ties in league play. Last year's PeeWee's, the 94's & 95's, were going very strong until a key player broke his wrist and then the dynamics of the team were upset. This year are 6 playing football and 5 others playing soccer, so getting to the 1st game without an injury is still uncertain. Remember Evansville is the most southwesternly located team in the Buckeye, and have had trouble filling ice times because teams didn't want to travel so far. I agree with you, we can't wait to get the schedule and even get to regular practice times to get this season started.

Yeah, once we get a team down here they love coming back. We're lucky to have it, we really liked going to Butler County and playing in their palace. That's a D1 rink for sure.

SmallCity, I meant, how do you see he division where Evansville is currently at (Bantam A) working out in the end? I also think your rink down there is wonderful. Wish I had it in my own backyard!!!

As you said, none of these teams have played each other, but I'd say Zamboni is pretty much on target. 1. Evansville 2. Centerville 3. Bloomington or Columbus 5. Indy Bronze I'd like to see us play a couple of teams in the Bluegrass division, just to gauge our strengeth against their division by seasons end. Centerville looks big, fast and skilled from the 2 minutes I saw them play. I did see at least one Centerville player play in the Buckeye final last year. In fact she scored the game winner, with an impressive break away splitting the two defenders. I have an older daughter that plays, so I apreciate the skill and courage it takes to continue to play against the boys when many of the boys begin their 1st big growth spurt. Bloomington, Columbus and Indy always dress tough teams. Evansville is an experienced and balanced team, seven kids with more than 5 years of travel hockey and one Mid-Am camper. They can play either a power or a finese game. I can honestly say I only saw 4 games, plus 2 minutes of the Centerville game and maybe 1 minute of Bloominton on the ice. My opinion is based on your guys posts, until I research the rosters and can remember the playrs we have played against. Where is Centerville's home ice? And where does Indy Bronze play most of their home games?

Indy Bronze's home rink is The Arctic Zone in Westfield, Indiana. However, we are going to be playing at The Forum in Fishers, Pan-Am World Skating Academy that is downtown, and The Pepsi Coliseum. Basically we don't have a home rink. LOL. I certainly don't know how we ended up in the same division as the teams people thought might be AA, and we are definitely not going to complain about it, but I can only hope that the league knows what they were doing. LOL. I didn't get the luxury of seeing any of these teams play, so I have no idea what our kids should expect. Obviously our kids played well enough the league thought we could compete. We honestly thought we might be a strong A1 team, or a weak A team. I guess that is why the games are played, and I can't wait. I absolutely enjoy seeing our kids develop from week to week and year to year. It is amazing!
