ok, the BTHL Bantams have 24 teams signed up.

how should they be broken down?

I guess we will find out this weekend, won't we! Best of luck to everyone. I personally can not wait to see how it all shakes down. GO RACERS!

Seems like a giant step in the right direction.

Even though there were rules that stopped teams from playing down, there was nothing stopping a team that "within the rules" could play A from playing up. So a strong or mid sized org. didn't have to play A. They could move up a division.

Duluth is correct. For example, last year Findlay's top Bantam team was eligible to play in Bantam A. It elected to play Bantam AA. (The year before the core of that team had played Peewee A and gone 25-2 in league games.) They had mixed results, in Bantam AA they went won 6 of 17 league games (10-18-2 in all games against league teams). Despite the record, most games were close. League GF was around 1.7 and GA was around 3.3)).

I thought it went very well. Surprised at how it stayed on schedule.

I heard a highway accident (not involving players) caused some issues at the Indian Hill rink
