Where did you copy the information in that post from? The number to the right is the Buckeye League assigned number. What could the first number be?

If you look at who Evansville played in the "pre-seed" tournament and who N.Ky played, the Evansville coaches must have told the BTHL that they were going to be pretty good, what did N.Ky. tell the BTHL?
So that you all know. N.KY. Is and knew that they would have to move up to an AA team. They did not know until the week of the placement that they would be getting 4 kids joining there team. From my understanding the teams that they played in the tournament knew this before the game started. If they wouldn't have gotten these players then they would have been an average A team.

When do we expect to see all rosters posted on the web site? Bloomington destroyed Evansville and the rest of the division 2 years ago when these age groups played together. If that Bloomington team is together, including a couple of players that bolted to Columbus, it will be a very road trip for any team. Evansville is a better team than 2 years ago, but still as a whole the team is somewhat undersized for a full season in a AA hockey league.

Apparently, my last 2 posts were replies to the post below: Defense Posted September 24, 2007 10:47 PM If Bloomington belongs in A, which they were moved, then there should be no question about Evansville being AA. JMO!! Thoughts? It must have been removed by the sender, as I don't see it in the string.

This shows how much you know about Bloomington hockey. They came from Columbus to play in Bloomington. For reasons unknown to me other than they had a hard time making B'Towns practice, they would not have left. I have to agree, 2 years ago they beat Evansville, but didn't destroy them. If i remember, Bloomington only won by no more than 2 goals in any of the games they played Evansville. Fast forward to last year, Evansville pounded Bloomington 4 times, I know one game the score was 10-1. So back off of Bloomington, as they only have 10 kids skating. They didn't know what to expect at the preseason tournament, thats why they signed up for A1. Also, I'm happy we moved up to A, better travel schedule(LOL). I just don't understand Evansville not wanting to play AA, as they would be a contender.

Defense, Whoa, I'm not attacking Bloomington. Please read my post again, I don't think I stated who should move up in any of my posts. You on the other hand have called out Evansville at least twice. Now to reply to your post. First - You're on target, I don't know much about Bloomington's team. I didn't watch them play and their roster is not posted. Second - I speak of the team 2 years ago, the last time the 93's & 94's were together, and was attempting to compare apples to apples. The Bloomington team was a difficult battle and tough team that I beleive won the Silversticks B in Ft. Wayne. Evansville took a physical pounding from Bloomington 2 years ago and were outclassed talent wise accross the board and outsized, at least 6 of the Evansville kids were under 75lbs. Last year's Evansville Bantam's did have some success, but as most teams do, they lost several players moving up to Midgets. Third - Evansville had tryouts one week before the placement tourney and the roster was submitted with all players that attended tryouts on the roster. The roster was due to the league before the team was finalized. Prior to the placement tourney, this team was not sure where we should be placed. There have only been five practices to this point, two prior to the placement tourney and now only three more since. Fourth - Evansville used past Buckeye guidelines and experience to establish where we thought we fit. Three years ago, Evansville's PeeWees (92's & 93's) and Squirts (94's & 95's)were required to play a AA schedule. The squirts something like 0-15-1. Fifth - I'm not suggesting anyone in the tourney sandbagged. I know we didn't sandbag, we played to the max and our goalies had exceptional games. In, fact we adjusted lines just to get the 1 goal against Dayton in the waning seconds of the game to avoid the shutout. And we also adjusted lines throughout the day to improve our performance. The jist of my post was the Bloomington team 2 years ago was a tough team and if it's together again this year, they will again be a tough team in this division. That was not meant to be an attack or a backhanded compliment. Just a compliment.
