The Cincy Bantam "A" team has to feel good about running up the score on the S.Charleston Bantam "A" team. The final score was (21-0), what happened to "Sportsmanship", you would think when the score was 15-0(that would be enough) or maybe (16-0) or (17-0) or (18-0) or (19-0) or (20-0), no let's run it up to (21-0), NO CLASS!!

South Charleston is actually B but had to play A because there wasn't a B division. Several kids had 4+ goals for Cincinnati I hope other teams take note and have mercy.

Which games would you be refering to???? I think that is why they went independat so they would not be forced into 4-5 games a year that were not a good match. I think all teams that they have played have been either AA or AAA, so it is not the A team running the score up on a B team. Also it is a double edged sword, what would you rather be involved in, a game that a team plays keep away and makes your kids look like puck chasers or one that you have to keep working hard and take pride in that one goal or that great defensive play??? I would rather have the latter.

This is just plain wrong!
What kind of coach would let that happen?

Rediculous!!! Shame on that coach!

If you argued that you were trying to let everyone score. Play defence on offence, etc. MAYBE I could see a score 12 to 15 to 0.

In this game the Cinci team had 3 players score more than a hat trick. Not only does this teach extremely poor sportsmanship it makes a travesty of reporting statistics. There is no place for this conduct in this sport.

If these are league games, that is just another reason to have pre-season evaluations. I think I read somewhere on this forum about the BTHL wanting to involve people in a "thinking tank" for this very thing. A good way to get involved.

It makes sense at this time, that some teams would want to go independent.
