The preseason ranking would not help here. Charleston wanted to play in the B division because they knew they were a B team. The only reason they are playing A this season is because there were not enough B teams to form a BTHL division this season. I'm sorry, but there is NEVER a good reason to run up the score like that.

So what is acceptable??? They have played 4 games 2 againt the Butler County Redhawks and lost 11-0, 8-0 then two to Cincinnati 12-2,21-0. I was not there and maybe you were. But it could be a case of after the first game or durring the second game something happend to make this go this way. Did someone cheapshot someone or start running the mouth as a bad sport that made them take it to the score board??/ Like I said I was not there so I do not feel it is right to look at a posted score and start bad mouthing if I do not know the whole story. I see many games with many teams in the BTHL scores that are 13-1, 9-0, 12-1,13-4 and I dont know those games either. Sounds like Charleston made a bad choice and now who ever plays them will be the bad guy.

So a "cheap shot" or a kid "bad mouthing" gives the coach the right to run up the score? I know we are going to disagree with this one, so I'm done. There is never a good reason to run up the score.

I guess all the college basketball games last night with scores like 85-40 and 75-42 and all the college football scores like 71-0 and 45-3 are unaccetable too??? I guess by your response you were not there either...that was my MAIN point. If the team that was on either end of the score had an issue and wanted to dicuss it, then they have that right. If you are not on either end then you have NO right to make judgements. Maybe the team that was getting beat told the other coach and players NOT to back off!!!!!!!!!

This coming from some kid's mother. I hope your son doesn't end up in jail.
