Right now it seems like only 2 teams are for sure and then a bunch of question marks:
In:
Cincy - Mo Patterson team Indy - Troy Frazer Team
???
Dayton - is this team going independent? are there enough players for a 2nd AA team that competes in BTHL?
Findlay - will team composition and parent\coach\player preference be to play A or AA?
Louisville - similar to Findlay, will grid force them in AA? will coaches want to play at this level? enough talent?
Columbus, OH - will a Columbus team compete in BTHL or are all AA and below going to Cleveland and Little Caesers?
No. KY - website doesnt say what level, enough 2nd years and talent to play at AA??
Ft. Wayne - cant find anything on this program for coming year..
Gilmour - BTHL site lists as a prospective teama & association, anyone with info on this program, team or acceptance into the league?
Evansville - two years ago their 94s\95s played AA, will they do this again or given the grid will they take their option to play A?
any readers, posters or others with knowledge please speak up - if the BYHL Pee Wee AA level isnt going to have enough participation we would like to know sooner rather than later so other alternatives could be explored before its too late and doors are closed!
[/QUOTE] Dayton AA is going independant. My guess is Findlay will go A: in 04-05 when the 94/95 played AA the record in league was 2-14-0 with 28 goals for and 89 against Same with Evansville: in 04-05 the 94/95 played AA and was 0-15-1 with 19 goals for and 121 against. So they will probably go A Ft. Wayne Pee Wee AA only had 4 first year 94 player on it for the 05-06 season so they will probably chose to play A instead of AA this year. NKY only had 4 first year kids on the Pee Wee AA team so I think they will go A also next year. Also they only had 4 second year players on the Squirt A team that have to move up so I dont think the numbers are there for AA. All of these are OPINIONS and not fact. Who knows who moved into the area or played at a house league or another org. that will effect the level of play and numbers. | | | | Posts: 131 | Location: In the Net | Registered: June 25, 2004 |

The Buckeye site has the CCYHA having one team in the Pee Wee AA, Does this mean that this team will also go independant like the Dayton team? That will only leave Cinci. and Indy and Gilmore in the AA if all of the other ones play A. | | | | Posts: 131 | Location: In the Net | Registered: June 25, 2004 |
