I am not trying to start something, just trying to understand how teams make decisions. Especially AA teams in Buckeye that are leaving more and more of this league to be an A/B league rather than AA. Thanks.

I understand that they were first going to play independent, then when they saw only 2-3 teams signed up they thought 12 games in a leauge and still would have plenty of open weekends for AAA or top AA teams, then when more teams started getting in they did not want to be tied down to 20-24 games against A/AA teams.
Not saying if it is right or wrong but that is the type of decisions each team on the bubble is making.
I also see that the GLHL is talking about having a Tier II AA division in addition to the Tiet I AAA it has now. I think that could be a good thing to compete against the CSDHL for the AA+ teams.
Then the Buckeye would become the old GCYHL???

Disregard my previous post, all it included was the above quote.

Thanks for the info on the Dayton pee wee AA team wingsrule! So apparently the coaching staff for that team thinks it is a CSDHL, AA+/AAA level team? The Dayton peewee AA team from last year was ranked #160 on the 'myhockey.com' website, not exactly superstar level ranking when one of the lower level CSDHL teams with a 4-22-2 record was ranked #142. Is this year's Dayton pee wee AA team expected to be significantly better?

Didn't really appreciate the backhanded comment about the Buckeye peewee AA league having A/AA level teams. Some of those teams are very good and would give Dayton more than a good game.

Never meant to make a backhanded comment and I apologize if I offended!!!
There are good teams in the BTHL and the BlueHawks are going to play a couple of them.
However note below:

I like the points you made above and they do nothing but support my comments if you look deeper into the stats you quote. Last years Dayton AA team WAS 160 in the MYHOCKEY rankings. They went 20-0-2 in the BTHL leauge and 30-14-5 overall and, 160 was the highest ranked BTHL 93 team, the next closest was Columbus BJ @ # 236 and they were 14-8-2 in the leauge and 17-19-2 overall.

So did playing in the BTHL help or hurt the Dayton AA rankings?? Your ranking is based on your record and the record of all of the teams you play. They played 24 games with teams @ the 236 ranking and higher!!!!!

This Dayton 2005-2006 team was all 93's with 1 94 so that whole team has moved up to Bantams. The 2006-2007 Dayton AA team is VERY difrerent from just that 94 and the others that were on the A team last year.

The team has about 1/2 of the players that played AAA last year including the goalie. It also has the best couple of 95 in the Cincinati/Dayton area, along with 5-6 others that are just as good if not better that played for about 4 diferent teams last year. Both assistant coaches were head coaches last year and the new head coach has MUCH playing experiance, Coaching/relating knowledge, and the kids love working for him.

One other stat that is interesting is that the Dayton AA team at #160 had a strength of schedule of 7.69 listed on MYHOCKEY.com and the team you quote above The St. Louis Spirit CSDHL AA team record of 4-22-2 at #143 has a 11.94 strength of schedule. So if you look at that stat the myhockey.com people look at the worst CSDHL team as a AA/AA+ team and the Best BTHL as a A/AA team.

Don't know if this is a new Org. or just a re-name of the Storm.
They played the Cincinnati AA this weekend in Louisville and had a 1-1 Tie and a 3-5 loss.
