CBJHockeyNut / Troll – Thanks for the info, very helpful. Trying to follow some of these posts and it gets a little confusing with all the acronyms, team names, etc...

With all that info to share can you tell us who the last team in Columbus was to win a Tier II:
State Championship? District Championship? National Championship?
None, none and none. But more important, a question: And that has anything to do with the number of associations in Columbus and where they play because . . . ?

Speaking of states, any word on how the Buckeye Cup (the unofficial Squirt "states") went this past weekend? Who played in AA and A and anyone know any results? If Cincy and Dayton played, I have to believe they did well.

Cincy's webpage says they won their first three games, apparently routing Mentor, Capitals and No. Olmsted. Don't know beyond that.

none is what was expected. the nature of the question was to ask with all this history being explained and nothing really to show for any of the organizations, why does everyone think they should go tier 1?
there aren't too many organizations, there are too many organizations who try to field too many travel teams. CTH is the most guilty in this. the same leadership has been in place now since the inception and what do they have to show for it? they are on their what 3rd or 4th name change. blue jackets/ice dragons to stars, stars to capitols, now capitols to either blue jackets or capitols?
anyone outside of central ohio would easily be confused.
