Can anyone provide some insights on which associations plan on having Midget teams in the Buckeye this coming season?

I know Cincy has 2 teams slated, who else is planning on playing in the BTHL? If you know what your program is going to do would like to get some idea on how many teams?

is Dayton, Athens, Findlay, Louisville Stallions or Lexington back in? what about Cleveland?

if you know, please post!! thank you!

I hear that Lexington is in dire straights as far as filling a team at any level. Don't know about the rest.

Columbus is looking to have at least 1 U16 AA Midget team. Not sure where they are looking to play, but BTHL would make sense--U18 A if that is the way it goes again.

Is Cincy definitely having 2? Last I looked on the CAHA website I only saw one coach listed.

Louisville Stallions have U16 and U18 teams, I think they picked up some of Lexington's players. Check their website: stallionshockey.com

Cincy is down to 1 midget team in the BTHL, Pecor's team which would be "A" level and not "AA". It doesnt look like there will be enough programs to field a U16 division, only Louisville & Columbus would have teams.

anybody with for sure knowledge on Dayton BlueHawks and\or Bombers plans?

right now, I will be greatly surprised if there is a U16 division and expect to see some U18A teams get forced into playing AA against No. KY and Louisville just to have enough teams to form a midget division.

From what I can tell Midgets will be:

No Ky U18AA
Louisville U18AA
Dayton Bluehawks U18AA
Dayton Bombers U18AA
Cleveland Jacks U18 AA

Cincy U18A
Athens U18A

Louisville U16AA
Columbus BlueJackets U16AA

not great options for the younger teams or the A teams!

It appears that Cincy will not have a Midegt team this year. I hear that the Pecor team has folded.

I've heard that Athens and Cleveland are not playing in the BTHL, that they are going with CSHL - can anyone confirm this?
