This weekend BTHL teams head to Dayton and Cinci to battle for the 2004 Buckeye Cup. How is everybody feeling about the tournament. As far as this hockey dad is concerned i feel we can go one of two ways. i feel if we get past the first game and play very tough and physical in the second we are in good shape. i believe the teams to beat are Butler Co. and Cinci. Dont anybody turn their back on Sylvania either. they proved this weekend they never give up. My prognastication Butler Co. and Cinci Cyclones in Champoinship. Sylvania and Toledo in consolation championship.
Just checked out Pee Wee A bracket which is now complete. We take on Indianapolis Ice a #8 vs. #9. Just like in March madness this is anybodies game. Both teams appear to be able to beat anyone and can be beaten by anyone. This game will obviously go to the team that makes the fewest errors. Lets Go Storm!!!!!
I might have to rethink we matchups in the championship after todays scores have been posted.
Well I pondered this for a bit and I really have no idea but here goes. I would like to think that Toledo has the ability to make it to the second round from where we sit. Now IF they could upset Butler County I would have to think it would be the biggest upset in the Pee Wee tournament. IF they could do that I think they would be able to go all the way. But (dont tell my son or the team ) that Butler County is too good of a team for that type of upset. But they will play the game cause you never know.
So I see Sylvania and Butler in the semi's and I see Cinci and Columbus flames without problems in the semi's
Finals I see Butler and Columbus Flames.
Now that is with no upsets. And I am sure their will be upsets. So I hope to see Toledo in the finals. If not. Sylvania better bring the trophy home to northwest ohio!

Our version of March Madness his here!!! With the way the team has been playing lately, I think and hope we have a good showing this weekend! We played a good game against Cinci and came up short. We had a great first period against Sylvania and stopped playing after that. You just can't do that against Sylvania! You can never count them out! Lets take things one game at a time. We do have our work cut out for us in the first round!
