By the BTHL rules a Large Org like Cincinnati to play in the BTHL for each division is as follows: 1st team picked MUST go AA 2nd team picked Must play AA if more than 2 kids are 2nd year kids 3rd team picked MUST go AA if more 4 kids are second year kids or A (not B)if more than 2 are second year kids 4th team picked MUST go AA if more than 8 are second year kids and MUST go A (Not B)if 4 kids are second year
So for the Bantam age group in Cincinnati the 1st team picked is the 1993 AAA, 2nd team picked is going BTHL AA,
Next team to be picked(#3) says they will go A, so that means out of the 44 kids that are listed on the Bantam A #1 tryout they can ONLY take 4 1993 birth year kids and still play A.
Then the next team (#4) says they will play B, So they can ONLY take 4 1993 birthyear to still play B.
So How many of the 44 that are listed plus any that have not signed up yet are 1993 birthyears???? They can ONLY take 8 1993 Birth year kids and still play in the division that they list for the tryout??

Ckecked out the Competition Committee Proposal posted on the BTHL Website. Would current restrictions for large organizations be necessary if this Proposal is adopted?

The proposal did pass, unanimously and I believe that was one of the main reasons to propose it, to make the compition more fair and equitable for all the organizations involved. Here to all those who chose a great new way of competion for our kids!!
