Cardinal 92 Bantam A Minor Team would like to thank the players, coaches and parents for their support and dedication in making this a memorable last season.

2005-06 Cardinals played their 3rd and final season in the Little Caesar's Amateur Hockey League (LCAHL).
Efforts to play together for the 2006-07 season officially ended on 4/14/2006. Without local association support, the team could not continue. Former players from this team will be trying out for the 92 Ohio Jr. Blue Jackets Bantam AAA team and other Bantam AA options.

Just curious if the you think the 92 Cardinals will try to stay together and play AAA or will splinter going in several different directions (Columbus, Cincy, Cleveland)? Also, do you know where their head coach will be going? I've heard nothing but good things about him but do not see him on the AAA list of coaches.

"In order to stay together as team (instead of having tryouts), the CTH association chartered it last year".

The 92 Cardinal Team has always held open tryouts and this included last year as well. So from a 92 perspective, players had the option of trying out for this team as well as any other Capital's team (AAA, AA, or A). It is accurate that the team was chartered under the CTH Association, but kept the Cardinal name.

The CTH Board should be contacted regarding where players and coaches may be going for the upcoming season.

What's going on with AAA tryouts in Columbus? It's been very quiet on here. By the web page, which I cannot access anymore, if I remember all the tryouts are over but I have heard nothing. Good turnout? Are these just the Capitals 92, 93, 94 and 95 teams from last year? Last year's tryouts were well run -- same this year? I know they are putting together new teams at younger ages, did the young teams get good numbers? I am stuck here with just rumors!

Also whats happen with the Quebec team thing? Is that something seprate? That used to pull in Cleveland and Cinci kids. When are those tryouts? One thing I heard was that the PeeWee team from the Ohio Jr. team will be in that tournment?

was at the midget majors - was well run & organized, 35-40 skaters, 8 goalies, pretty competitive, will be some tough decisions. I know the calls to the players started tonight from Ed (he told the boys he'd calle ach one sometime Mon-Thur) the MM coach.
