Last Saturday Louisville Bantams beat the Cincy 95's 8-2 and 3-0.

Indy Racers play Cincy 95's this Saturday.

would switch Louisville and Indy, Louisville comes back with alot of experience unless some 94's went on to play HS. Cincy 95AA will be interesting, might be a one line team with 5-6 95 AAA players joining the team. Columbus is a mystery as they played in Cleveland last season. Indy lost 3 93's and a few 94's to High School hockey but picked up some good players to fill the voids. With both excellent goaltenders returning from playing at the Bantam 'A' level last season they should be tough.

After seeing some of the initial season results and the placing tournament here is an update on my order of teams:

Columbus
Louisville
Fort Wayne
Indy
Dayton 95
Cincy 94
Cincy 95

Columbus - saw alot of kids come out of the Gardens locker room (during the placing tourney) with Bluejackets AAA equipment bags and their roster hardly resembles the Peewee AA they had two years ago. I would say they are stacked. Louisville would be a close second as they have been able to keep that team together since Squirts it seems. After that the next five will need to get stronger to knock of those top two.

Games this weekend in Columbus should give us an idea who will be the team to beat this year. They don't have an opponent in common so tough to compare them.

Louisville website doesn't list results so don't know who they have played outside BTHL, BTHL website has their stats but that doesn't tell much except goalies look to be playing well. Blue Jackets haven't loaded stats on BTHL website, their website shows they have played some good teams outside the league but haven't fared well.

Anyone have some insight or care to speculate?

Looks like this was a big statement weekend for Louisville, they are the team to beat. When they play their game they are tough to beat, but if taken off their game they can be beaten. We played them fairly close in two games down there, they carried the play in general but the final scores were skewed by some flukey goals.

For all of the teams scores go www.myhockey.com, Louisville is currently ranked #156 and Columbus #170. The site explains how the teams are ranked and shows all of the results that have been submitted through various sources.
