Three days until the seeding results - any speculations as to how the PeeWee's will shake out?

I've tried several different methods to analyze the Peewees seeding results, but I can't get the same placements as the Buckeye. I also don't see how they resolved the issue of the games that did not occur due to the power outages.

Looking at the Peewees:
-N. Ky and Columbus Blue Jackets both went 1-3-0 only beating Bowling Green who went 0-3-1 and moved to A2, but they both stay an A? Every model I have says they should move to A1.

-Louisville went 3-1-0 only losing to Indy who also went 3-1-0 and stayed an A, but they drop to A1? Every model I have says they should be an A.

-Evansville also went 3-1-0 against stronger competition than Indy or Louisville, but they drop to an A1? They should definitely be an A.

-Troy only plays teams that are A1 or A2, goes 3-0-0, and goes up to AA? My models say Troy should be an A.

At the very least, N. Ky and Columbus Blue Jackets should be A1, and Louisville, Evansville, and Troy should be A.

If Lexington keeps their player who also signed on to a Bantam team at another organization, they should be A too.

What happened to the other Findlay Oilers team? They were in at A, played their games, but now the Findlay AA team is listed as A, and the other is gone?

If there is anyone who can explain the actual method used to make the placement decisions, I'd love to hear about it.

I think that the "observers" at Goggin and the observers in Cinci - both the Gardens and Northland - have different standards. I would hope that this is the case for several deserving teams being seeded at A1 instead of A; the alternative being that there are personalities, politics, geography and re****tions weighing in on the decisions. Hopefully the petitions are being delivered and the board meeting is a fair one and not just a pacifier.

Last season the discussion on these boards indicated that the observers are only there to make sure teams play everyone, not sit some players to influence the scores. Supposedly, the decisions are based solely on something called an RPI, but I've never seen an explanation of how this is calculated. It is supposed to be completely unbiased, but until someone volunteers the details, ...

Now that the fun of "seeding speculation" is over, let me just say this: Let the games begin! crazy
BTW - kudos to the seeding guys - you took what seemed to be an impossible and thankless task and made the best of it.

Everyone knows that trying to please all the teams is an impossible task. My question is one of simple geography: which city is further north?n.ky.,butler co.,springboro,or cincinnati.
The Buckeye hockey league says N. ky.! is. Somebody call Rand Mcnally and have them reprint the maps. What an absolute farce, instead of being in the hoosier div. and traveling to lou.,lex.,and cin. we get to go to strongsville,ft.wayne and findlay all three hours+ drives. I guess our team represents the travel part in the BTHL.

I have to agree. The revision is greatly improved over the first version. I can't say I agree with everything, but I also don't have all the information they do. One thing I can say for certain, is the RPI apparently has nothing to do with it, thank goodness. I found a definition of RPI as the NCAA calculates it, did the calculations, and it placed our team in the top 3 of those that competed. That would make us AA. While we're a solid A, we're definitely not AA this season. Only thing that really needs correcting is the Hoosier/Blue Grass designations. Lexington, Louisville, Evansville, .. A group should be Blue Grass, the more northern A group should be Hoosier. My kids' geography teacher would have a fit if she knew.
Okay, how do you put those whacky gifs on your post?

(Click on the happy face icon on the tool bar). I agree that the bluegrass vs hoosier thing is way off! I'm sure there must be more to it then geography. Just look at the divisional travel miles - Bluegrass and Hoosier aren't even close! I think that the Bluegrass division is what the board feels are A teams and they changed the A1 teams to Hoosier A because they received so many petitions. That way they could still keep the competition levels where they wanted and appease the coaches/parents at the same time. (notice I didn't mention the kids - I really don't think they care)
