So now we know it's Toledo (3-2 winner over Syvania), Indy and Louisville. Does anyone know who is in from PA? Even the rink it was played in didn't know.

lou14,

I don't think you fully understabnd the deference between "A" and "AA" hockey. "AAA" is the top, then "AA", then "A". No one expectes "A" teams to be able to compete with true "AA" teams. If the Lou "A" team is capable of competing with the likes of the Racer 91's then they NEVER should have been playing "A" in the BTHL. They should have played in the AA". My point for bringing up the Cincy "AA" was to show where Lou would have fit in the BTHL "AA" - they would have been middle of the road. Likely they would have finished behind the two Indy teams - and these Indy teams were picked AFTER the Racer 91 team - indicating that they are less talented.

I have not seen the Racer 91 team this year - only last year. I have seen the Lou "A" team and the Cincy "AA" team. My guess is that Racer 91 would beat Cincy "AA" by 10 to 0, so since Lou beat Cincy twice (4-2 and 3-1) I'll say Racer 91 would beat Lou "A" by 8 to 1.

Again, there is a huge difference between top "AA" teams and top "A" teams. Yes, the top "A" teams can compete with bottom "AA" teams, but not top "AA" teams.

Lastly, you should use the word CORRECT more judiciously. It generally means to fix errors. You did not fix any error. You brought in additional information (some of which was off point - re: the Cincy "A" team stuff).

Cheese,
Re-read your original post. You stated that that the Cincy "A" tied Lex at the end of the year. That was incorrect plain and simple (Perhaps it was a typo). I merely pointed that out. It was the "AA" that tied Lex.

I am not suggesting that Lou will beat Indy either. I don't expect them to. I'm just hoping for a more respectable showing than the predictions made in some of the posts.

My Predictions:
Louisville will lose to Cardinal 92's 5-1.
Louisville will lose to Indy Race 91's 12-1.
Louisville will lose to Sylvania 91's 8-2.
Louisville will lose to Whoever PA rep 5-1.

Sorry Louisville you just can't compete with the big boys. I would rank Indy 1st and Sylvania close behind a toss up between Cardinal 92's and PA rep. Louisville dead last.

Go ahead and prove me wrong hello

I'd have to say you were pretty much right on the money with your predictions. It was very difficult for both Louisville teams this weekend in Columbus. It's hard to play Buckeye all year, then go against teams from the CSDHL, LCAHL and PAHA, those teams have the advantage of playing strong teams almost every week. Louisville never gave up though.

For the record Raptop was 50/50.

Louisvile playing with only 10 guys...sometimes 9 on the bench was short most of weekend due to injuries and illness.

AAA Indy toyed with us most of the game, Final 10-1

Southpointe was a 6-1 winner

Sylvania 4-1 winner

Columbus 5-3 loser.

So Louisville did pick up a win, didn't lose that bad to Sylvania. They did not finish dead last so I'd say all in all it wasn't a bad weekend for the team considering they were an "A" team.
