Indy's Bantam is not a AAA team. Very good AA yes. But if you check their league (CSDHL)they were 3rd in the league, went 1-2 in the playoffs against other strong AA teams. Maybe compared to Louisville they looked like AAA.

Hey Lou14 - I'd say I did pretty good for predicting. Next year take ugly as good enough that a team will lose. To ask people to predict scores just asks for someone feelings to get hurt. I took a hard stance because I felt you pushing was stupid.

Your right finishing 2nd to last is pretty good and your team should feel good about there performance. Cardinals not winning a game that's a tough way to host Mid-Am's.

Indy good luck at Nationals, I'm sure you'll do better than the Ft. Wayne Peewee Host team will do.

Lou14, It was very apparent no one did there home work on Indy. They are a strong AA team playing in CSDHL and they were an independent AA team last year. Why cant you say they have a great team instead of they are AAA. It just goes to show that you have not seen a true AAA game. By the way the indy v.s Louisville score was 15-1 they quit putting it on the score board after 10. What a bunch of pompus a$% the Sylvania parents were. They played the Indy team in silversticks and got beat. All they could say then was we had a bad game. Did you have a bad game against them again? Or are you going to say they are AAA.

I did the scoresheet for this game for the Mid-Ams and all I can say is that it was pathetic to watch. I have no sons playing at this age so I was not partial for either team. The Indy coaching staff made no effort to have this team make any extra passes or work on skills but continued to score - even had cherry pickers set up to score even when they knew the game was won and over. Please save your responses "that this was Districts and why should they etc.", it was a very poor display of coaching on Indy's part in my book. They certainly didn't need to run up the score - it was not necessary, nothing was on the line. Just the Indy coaching staff egos - puffing out their chests. I can only say that the Louisville team and coaches are a class act. The Louisville goalie should be proud he played extremely well. This team continued to work hard and did their best until the game was over.

Ragtop Cardinals team is 92 / 93 birth year team. Despite the scores - this team was in every game except Indy. They lost to Sylvania 3 to 5, Louisville and Southpointe 2 to 5. Hardly a beating for a Bantam A team with 11 players on the bench aside from the goalies.

twinhockey,
If you were doing the sheet then you were not paying attention. 9 goals in the 1st with minutes left on the clock. Did you see usa-midam come over and talk to the coach? Did you see the coachs ask for a running clock during the ice cut. Did you see them working on PP or regroups or even a cycle. I didn't think so. Or do you know what these terms are. If the coachs wanted to run the score up it would have been alot more than what it was. Do you consider coming out of the box cherry pickin. Until you know what was said to that team by the coachs or until you have all the facts dont come on here posting crap or about a game you have no clue about. This is why you do the score sheet.

USA Hockey (and MidAm in turn) need to look into changing the goal differnetial rule as well as the running clock.

They should limit the max goal differential per game to 6. They should allow a running clock after a 6 goal lead is reached. Otherwise, you invite the running up of scores (not saying Indy did that).
