| Unless this child has a better than average shot to make a Div 1 school team and is being scouted I think that is way (way)too far... Just my opinion.

| Depends.... 1. is player a day or boarding student at the prep school? If boarding, couldn't there be some potential issues with curfew/lights out and other dorm rules? 2. When is homework getting done - afterall, academics id the primary reason for attending a prep school after all. 3. Is that 2.5 - 3 hrs each way or roundtrip? If each way, then yes that is way too far to travel. If round trip, it might be feasible if items 1 & 2 addressed AND the team is a top level team that will provide exposure not available at the prep school (which depending on the prep school, would be hard to do).
