Well, regular season and playoffs are done for us. Time for a few weeks off. We played We played four games in four days last weekend and Monday. The first two games of the tourney sucked, but the boys came back and beat a very good team. Seventh place again. First playoff game was Monday night. The boys played very well, we just came up short in the end. I made the bench short and sat the rookies for the last five minutes. Pulled the goalie with a minute left, just couldn't put the puck in the net. It was a very fun game to coach and watch. I am still a little confused on how the draws are made for playoffs, but for squirts I guess it is all about learning. Besides they don't post league play for squirts so nobody really know until you get that phone call.

I will probably run a dry land camp for the boys and coach a summer team, but for now I have to take a little break. Although, I will be at the rink a lot for the next couple of weeks. Maybe the boys would like to get a shinny game together.
