No problem and thanks for the additional background. Other than breaking it down by type of improvement/skill trained (i.e., speed work, strength exercises, etc.) do you break anything down to the position level? What I am thinking of, for example, is lateral movement exercises to increase the explosiveness/quickness of a hockey goalie's lateral movement. There is certainly some quick twitch stuff in there as well as muscle groups for side-to-side movement that might (have no idea) be different than forward/backward speed.

Goalies are probably the only carve out in hockey that comes to mind. In other sports you would have specific arm/shoulder exercises for pitchers and quarterbacks. It might be there but I didn't find it immediately. Like I said above, there is a lot there.

Adding more position-specific workouts is the goal for the future. We're currently adding new workouts at this time, but that is something we are going to do. In the mean time, we do have some goalie-specific drills here:

If you are located in Arizona Omnibalance is a great resource for hockey players that want additional training off ice. Almost all of the travel teams go once a week. They are very good with training hockey players and getting kids to realize how important living a overall healthy lifestyle is. It is also very inexpensive as a team.

Greetings from Wisconsin and Minnesota!

Just wanted to let you guys know that we have made a lot of updates to XL Athlete lately. I know you are most likely in-season, but there are some things you may want to check out. One of the best is the Post Workout/Game Recovery section for Hockey. The quicker you can recover, the better you will be for the next game. There are also plenty of other updates as well. Let me know if you have any questions, and I will be happy to help any of you out.

Good luck with your seasons!

I just put up a routine for kids with sore knees that they can try which may help. As someone who has had sore knees for many years, this routine has worked well for me.

Here is the sheet to download and print if you want:
